Olabanji O. Folayan, Chairman/CEO, has over 23 years of experience; with over 20 years in various security and emergency management positions. He holds a B.B.A. in Business Management, an M. S. in Management, and a graduate certificate in Homeland Security Management from the University of Maryland, University College. In reference to certifications, he holds the Certified Protection Professional(CPP) designation with ASIS International and the CHS-V designation through the American Board of Certified in Homeland Security. With regards to program/project management, he is also a Board-Certified Project Manager (CPM) with the International Association of Project and Program Managers. During his career, he has provided his expertise in Security Operations, Business Development, Human Resources, Quality Control, Contract Administration, Client Management, Financial Management, Logistics and Training. Mr. Folayan holds a Secret Clearance with the Department of Defense.Mr. Folayan is responsible for providing strategic direction and day-to-day management of our business in the areas of operations, business development, customer service, human resources, training, and quality control.
Abby A. Folayan, Assistant Director of Operations, is a career professional highly competent in problem solving and decision making. During over a decade of service, Ms. Folayan developed her skills in the areas of Workforce Staffing, Leadership, Customer Service and Safety Standards. Previously, she served in leading roles in a variety of industries including mass media, food services, travel and leisure and retail management; providing oversight to up to 60 employees with diverse backgrounds. Her previous positions were instrumental in her transition into leadership in the field of security and public safety, enabling her to properly execute her current duties. She has attended several undergraduate level courses from the Prince George’s Community College and aspires to obtain a degree in the areas of Human Resources and Organizational Development. She continues to grow as an asset to our organization while attending Professional Development Courses through the National Seminars Training Institute. Ms. Folayan holds all unarmed security force level certifications in MD, DC and VA and is responsible for providing operational support in the areas of Staffing, Quality Control, Human Resources, Logistics & Procurement, Licensing & Certification and Customer Service.
Tolu O. Folayan, Accounting and Finance Manager and is responsible for all accounting and finance related matters concerning Securemedy Incorporated. He is tasked with maintaining a documented system of accounting policies and procedures, including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving Securemedy’s goals and objectives. Mr. T. Folayan also assists in the determination of contract pricing in relation to services offered and competitor pricing. In addition, he forecasts cash flow positions, and ensures that sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational and capital investment requirements. He also manages the preparation of the company’s budget, reports to management on variances from the established budget, interprets the company’s financial results to management and recommends improvement activities. Mr. T. Folayan is an Accounting and Finance Professional with 7 years of work in the field of Accounting, Finance and Banking. He has served 3 years in Personal/Commercial banking as an operations, Finance and Member Services Specialists. He has served in the public sector as a financial management assistant and has 4 years of work in accounting and finance specifically. Tolu holds a B.S. in Accounting from the Earl G. Graves School of Business and Management at Morgan State University. He has served as an accounting consultant in the field of security for 4 years dating back to 2011.
Robyn D. Owens, Special Projects and Office Manager, is responsible for accomplishing ad-hoc projects in support of the critical functions of the senior and corporate management team. She also assumes day to day management of the clerical and administrative functions of the corporate office.. Ms. Owens passion for helping others, is instrumental in her role as Office Manager/Special Projects. Her superb multi-tasking and organizational skills ensures that routine operations are supported with minimal disruptions. In addition, her support roles also include Customer Relations, Logistics and Procurement, IT Support Matters, Research & Analysis and Vendor Management. Ms. Owens proficient knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook greatly contribute to her efficiency on daily operations. She served in the United States Air force for 20 years and was honorably discharged upon her retirement. She possesses 15 years of administrative experience, including 8 years of experience in facilitating information. She is highly skilled at building Professional relationships with external entities, government agencies and other key organizational partners.
Roger Ringer, Training and Certifications Manager for Securemedy, Incorporated. He has worked for numerous companies and clients who have small, state, and federal contracts to include international security. Roger’s passion is helping students in developing their knowledge and skills in the security industry. He has a talent for teaching people the information and skills that they will need to protect themselves, other personnel, and property at all levels. And for people who don’t believe that the information and skills are necessary, Roger’s teaching methods shows students that it is necessary that their jobs are enjoyable and that training is fun. A Criminal Justice and Forensic Science major, Roger has always had a love for the field of law enforcement and security. Being an officer himself, he understands what is needed for officers to be successful in the field. A self-motivated training expert in Use of Force and non-lethal as well as lethal weapons, in addition to criminal justice, law, constitutional law, forensics and crime scene investigation.
Tonia M. Garnett is the Director of Administration for Securemedy, Incorporated.  She has over 20 yrs exp. serving in instrumental leadership roles with Organizational Development and Human Resources Management responsibilities. Her broad experience includes corporate, military, government contracting and non-profit companies. She currently holds an M.B.A. in Human Resources Management from the University of Mary Washington/College of Business and a P.H.R. Certification from the Society of Human Resource Management.  Ms. Garnett is an expert in the strategic positioning of organizations,  bringing efficiency and effectiveness to the areas of talent acquisition, leadership development, workforce planning, HR compliance, and employee engagement. She served in the United States Army Reserve for 8 years and was honorably discharged upon completion of her tour of duty. Ms. Garnett is responsible for leading Securemedy’s Human Resources practices, while overseeing the Administrative objectives and ensuring they are closely aligned with the needs of the organization.
